WHEREAS, Carrie L. Barnhart D.D.S. served on the Board of Trustees
of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District for three years, from April, 1997 until
March, 2000, and
WHEREAS, Dr. Barnhart, during her service, exhibited an exuberance
for the work the District performs and the benefits it provides to the community,
and
WHEREAS, Dr. Barnhart stressed the need for public understanding
and support of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District during her tenure; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Barnhart made many contributions to the Board and
to the staff while serving on the Board, all of which helped the community and
District, and
WHEREAS, Dr. Barnhart=s civic mindedness extended far beyond her
service on the District=s Board to both civic and charitable organizations
operating for the betterment of the community,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT THAT, it
wishes to express its gratitude to Carrie Barnhart D.D.S. for her service on the
Board of Trustees and the many contributions she made to her fellow Board
members, the staff and the community.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT, a copy of this resolution be
presented to Dr. Barnhart in recognition of her service and accomplishments.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted June 8, 2000.
