WHEREAS, Steven Weiss faithfully served The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District from June 14, 1993 until his tragic death on March 11, 2002, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Weiss’ tireless energy, dedication and loyalty as a
Construction Laborer I have contributed to the development and progress of the
District and to the public which it serves;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
THAT, this Board on behalf of itself, the District and its people, and
the citizens it serves, expresses its heartfelt condolences to Mr. Weiss’ family, and
further expresses its deepest appreciation for the long and distinguished service
rendered by Mr. Weiss to this District, its employees and the entire St. Louis
community.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be
presented to Mr. Weiss’ family.
The Foregoing Resolution was adopted March 27, 2002.
