WHEREAS, Mark Waters has faithfully served The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District since December 1, 1986, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Waters’ tireless energy, dedication and loyalty as a
Construction Laborer I have contributed to the development and progress of
the District and the public which it serves, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Waters exhibited exceptional courage and provided
invaluable assistance during the tragic events of March 8, 2002 in which three
District employees were fatally attacked;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
THAT, this Board on behalf of itself, the District and its people,
and the citizens it serves, expresses its greatest appreciation to Mark Waters
for his years of service, and for his invaluable assistance during the tragic
events of March 8, 2002.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, THAT a copy of this Resolution be
presented to Mr. Waters.
The Foregoing Resolution was adopted March 27, 2002.
