WHEREAS, The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District has planned
the construction of the Lower Meramec River Wastewater Treatment Plant, and
WHEREAS, the District anticipates that any or all of the capital
expenditures made by the District for the construction of said plant will be
reimbursed to the District through the proceeds of bonds, notes or lease
purchase obligations,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT, That The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District anticipates capital expenditures after the
dates of adoption of this Resolution in connection with the construction of the
Lower Meramec River Wastewater Treatment Plant, and the District intends to
reimburse itself for such capital expenditures through the proceeds of bonds,
notes, or lease purchase obligations.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the maximum amount of the
aforesaid bonds, notes or lease purchase obligations expected to be issued is
One Hundred Eighty-one Million Dollars ($181,000,000.00).
The Foregoing Resolution was adopted May 13, 2002.
