WHEREAS, Gretchen Bean has faithfully served as a member of
the Civil Service Commission of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District from
September 14, 1994 to January 2, 2003, and
WHEREAS, Ms. Bean’s leadership, wisdom and legal knowledge
have greatly contributed to the fair and just interpretation and application of
the Civil Service Rules by the Commission, and
WHEREAS, Ms. Bean’s contributions to this community through
her service as a member of the Civil Service Commission of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District, and her membership in numerous other professional,
civic and community organizations, have been invaluable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT, that this
Board on behalf of the District and the public it serves, wishes to thank
Gretchen Bean for her years of service on the Civil Service Commission, and
commends her for her exemplary service.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be
presented to Ms. Bean in acknowledgement of her service and contributions.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted January 23, 2003.
