HomeMy Public PortalAboutR2487RESOLUTION NO. 2487 WHEREAS, The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District wishes to retain the services of a qualified minority/woman financial advisor to provide general and transactional professional advisory services to the District from March 1, 2003 to August 31, 2003, and WHEREAS, the District currently accepts state and local small disadvantaged business certification for minority/woman participation on District projects, and WHEREAS, it is believed that acceptance of state and local small disadvantaged business certification for the District’s minority/woman financial advisor will limit the number of qualified competitive respondents to the District’s Request for Proposal (RFP) for said position, and WHEREAS, it is believed that acceptance of federal small disadvantaged business certification for the District’s minority/woman financial advisor will enlarge the number of qualified competitive respondents to the District’s Request for Proposal (RFP) for said position, and WHEREAS, the District is serious about providing opportunities for minority/woman business enterprises, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT, THAT, the District accept federal small disadvantaged business certification for the District’s minority/woman financial advisor to provide general and transactional professional advisory services to the District from March 1, 2003 to August 31, 2003. The foregoing Resolution was adopted January 23, 2003.
