WHEREAS, Dennis M. Amelung served The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District from April 27, 1970, to his retirement effective
March 1, 2004;
WHEREAS, his tireless energy, dedication and loyalty as an
Emergency Crew Foreman, contributed to the development and progress
of the District and to the public which it serves;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
THAT, this Board on behalf of itself, the District and its
people, and the citizens it serves, herewith cites and expresses its
greatest appreciation to Dennis M. Amelung for his 33 years of exemplary
service;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this expression
be presented to Mr. Dennis M. Amelung.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted March 11, 2004.
