R E S O L U T I O N NO. 2603 WHEREAS, Charles A. Weiss has faithfully served as a member of the
Civil Service Commission of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District from November
4, 1999 to July 22, 2005, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Weiss served as Chairman of the Civil Service
Commission from May 2003, to July 22, 2005, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Weiss’ leadership, wisdom and legal knowledge have
greatly contributed to the fair and just interpretation and application of the Civil
Service Rules by the Commission, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Weiss’ contributions to this community through his
service as a member of the Civil Service Commission of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District, and his membership in numerous other professional, civic and
community organizations, have been invaluable, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Weiss’ professional accomplishments and recognition are
considerable, not the least of which is his term as President of the Missouri Bar,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT, that this
Board on behalf of the District and the public it serves, wishes to thank Charles A.
Weiss for his years of service on the Civil Service Commission, and commends him for
his exemplary service.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be presented
to Mr. Weiss in acknowledgment of his service and contributions.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted August 11, 2005.
