HomeMy Public PortalAboutR2620R E S O L U T I O N NO. 2620 WHEREAS, Marian A. Rhodes served on the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District from March 2003 to November 2005, having
held the position of Chair of the Audit Committee during that period, and
WHEREAS, Ms. Rhodes' knowledge and expertise in the areas of
audit, public affairs and human resources lent guidance to the Board in reaching
critical decisions in the service to the public, and
WHEREAS, Ms. Rhodes' contributions to the community reach far
beyond her service on the District's Board, including, but not limited to,
membership on the Boards of Downtown St. Louis Presents, Family Resource
Center, Lifeskill and Life Crisis; and active participation in Black Advertising &
Marketing Professionals, Hope House Benefit, Joe Torre Give Back the Love
Foundation, Young Friends of the St. Louis Art Museum, and St. Louis Internship
Program,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT, That, this
Board on behalf of itself, the District and the people it serves, herewith expresses its
sincere appreciation and gratitude to Marian A. Rhodes for her service on the Board
of Trustees and for her many contributions to the St. Louis community.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That, a copy of this Resolution be
presented to Ms. Rhodes in recognition of her service and accomplishments.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted December 8, 2005.
