WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 12936 adopted August 13, 2009, authorized the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a contract with McGriff, Seibels, & Williams of Missouri, Inc. to serve as
the District’s broker of record and provide other services for the District’s insurance program,
and
WHEREAS, the District desires to exercise its second (2nd) one-year (1) option
to renew said contract commencing on October 1, 2011, and ending on September 30, 2012,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT THAT, the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to exercise the District’s first one-year option to renew for a 12-month term,
commencing on October 1, 2011, and ending on September 30, 2012, the contract with McGriff,
Seibels & Williams of Missouri, Inc. whereby McGriff, Seibels & Williams of Missouri, Inc.
would serve as the District’s broker of record and provide other services for the District’s
insurance program, said contract renewal shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as are
approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted November 21, 2011 by the following vote –
Ayes – E. Ross, D. Visintainer, J. Goffstein, R. Berry, and G. Feldhaus.
Nays – None.
Secretary-Treasurer
