WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13023, adopted January 14, 2010, authorized the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a contract with BJC Employee Assistance Program whereby BJC Employee
Assistance Program would provide Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services for District
employees, and
WHEREAS, said contract will expire on January 31, 2012, and
WHEREAS, the District desires to exercise it option to renew said contract for an
additional one-year term, commencing on February 1, 2012,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT THAT, the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to exercise the District’s option to renew for an additional one-year term commencing on
February 1, 2012, the contract with BJC Employee Assistance Program whereby BJC Employee
Assistance Program would provide Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services for District
employees, said contract renewal shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as are
approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted November 21, 2011 by the following vote –
Ayes – E. Ross, D. Visintainer, J. Goffstein, R. Berry, and G. Feldhaus.
Nays – None.
