WHEREAS, David Visintainer served on the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District from May 1, 2009 to April 12, 2012, having held the
position of Chairman of the Program Management Committee from May 2009 through April
2012, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Visintainer's strong leadership, knowledge and expertise
imparted direction and stability to the District, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Visintainer's contribution serving on the Stakeholder Relations
and Audit Committees assured a continued diligent focus on the District’s fiscal matters, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Visintainer's contributions to the St. Louis Community reach far
beyond his service on the District’s Board, including but not limited to, serving on the City of
St. Louis Preservation Board and City of St. Louis Planning Commission, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT; THAT, this Board on behalf of itself,
the District and the people it serves, herewith expresses its sincere appreciation and gratitude to
David Visintainer for his service on the Board of Trustees and for his many contributions to the
St. Louis Community.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, THAT, a copy of this Resolution be presented to
Mr. Visintainer in recognition of his service and accomplishment.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted May 10, 2012 by the following vote –
Ayes – E. Ross, A. Mandel, J. Goffstein, R. Berry, J. Buford, and M. Yates.
Nays – None.
