WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13135, adopted September 16, 2010, authorized the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a contract with Kyna Iman LLC whereby Kyna Iman LLC would provide
State Legislative Lobbying Services for the District, and
WHEREAS, said contract provided for an initial term of two (2) years with one
(1) additional one-year renewal term at the option of the District, and
WHEREAS, the District desires to exercise its option to renew said contract for
the second one-year renewal term,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT THAT, the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to exercise the District’s option to renew contract with Kyna Iman LLC whereby Kyna
Iman LLC would provide State Legislative Lobbying Services for the District for the one (1)
year renewal term, said contract renewal shall provide for a total fee not to exceed Fifty Five
Thousand Dollars ($55,000.00), including expenses as approved by the District, and shall be
comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General
Counsel of the District.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted August 9, 2012 by the following vote –
Ayes – E. Ross, R. Berry, J. Yates, J. Buford, and J. Goffstein.
Nays – None.
