WHEREAS, the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District wishes to extend the
contract authorized in Ordinance No. 13373 Adopted February 9, 2012 with Mason Tillman
Associates, Ltd. for an additional twelve (12) months, and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13373 Adopted February 9, 2012, authorized the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasury on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a contract with Mason Tillman Associates Ltd. whereby Mason Tillman
Associates Ltd. would perform a Disparity Study for the District, and
WHEREAS, Mason Tillman Associates Ltd. delivered a Disparity and Workforce
Study and continues to be involved with several assignments, including ancillary and
consultation services, associated with these studies, and
WHEREAS, said contract expired on February 26, 2013, but may be extended for
additional terms at the District’s option, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BYTHE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT THAT, the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to exercise the District’s option to extend for an additional twelve (12) month term,
ending on February 26, 2014, the contract with Mason Tillman Associates, Ltd. whereby Mason
Tillman Associates Ltd. will continue to be involved with several assignments, including
ancillary and consultation services, associated with the Disparity and Workforce study, said
contract renewal shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the Office
of the General Counsel of the District.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted on April 22, 2013.
