WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13489, adopted September 27, 2012, authorized the
District to enter into a one (1) year contract with a one (1) year option renewal with McGriff,
Seibels & Williams of Missouri, Inc. whereby McGriff, Seibels & Williams of Missouri, Inc.
would provide insurance brokerage and insurance consultant services to the District.
WHEREAS, said contract provided for an initial term of one (1) year with one (1)
additional one-year renewal term at the option of the District, and
WHEREAS, the one-year base term of said contract is about to expire and the
Board of Trustees desires to exercise its option to renew said contract for the first one-year
renewal term, from October 1, 2013 through September 30, 2014.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT THAT, the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to exercise the District's option to renew for an additional one-year term, from October 1,
2013 through September 30, 2014, the contract and agreement with McGriff, Seibels & Williams
of Missouri, Inc. whereby McGriff, Seibels & Williams of Missouri, Inc. provide insurance
brokerage and insurance consultant services to the District and shall be comprised of such other
terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted on August 8, 2013.
