WHEREAS, Matthew C. Ratcliff has served The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District from February 22, 1972, to his retirement effective November 1, 2013.
WHEREAS, his tireless energy, dedication and loyalty as Building Custodian &
Messenger contributed to the development and progress of the District and to the public, which it
serves;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
THAT, this Board on behalf of itself, the District and its people, and the citizens it
serves, herewith cites and expresses its greatest appreciation to Matthew C. Ratcliff for his 41
years of exemplary service;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this expression be presented to
Mr. Matthew C. Ratcliff.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted on November 14, 2013.
