WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13590, adopted April 22, 2013, authorized the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a contract with Black & Veatch whereby Black & Veatch will provide
Engineering Services associated with the design of small projects through the District, and
WHEREAS, said contract provided for an initial term of one (1) year with two (2)
additional one-year renewal terms at the option of the District, and
WHEREAS, the contract is about to expire and the District desires to exercise its
initial option to renew said contract for an additional one-year term,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT THAT, the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to exercise the District's option to renew for an additional one-year term the contract
with Black & Veatch whereby Black & Veatch will provide Engineering Services associated
with the design of small projects through the District and shall be comprised of such other terms
and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted on June 12, 2014.
