WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13597, adopted May 9, 2013, authorized the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a contract with Gallagher Benefit Services would provide professional
benefit services for the District’s employees and family members, and
WHEREAS, said contract will expire on June 30, 2014, and
WHEREAS, the District desires to exercise it option to renew said contract for an
additional one-year term, commencing on July 1, 2014,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT THAT, the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to exercise the District’s option to renew for an additional one-year term commencing on
July 1, 2014, the contract with Gallagher Benefit Services whereby Gallagher Benefit Services
would provide professional benefit services for the District’s employees and family members,
said contract renewal shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the
Office of the General Counsel of the District.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted on June 12, 2014.
