WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13527, adopted November 8, 2012, authorized the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into an agreement with O.R. Colan Associates, Inc. whereby O.R. Colan
Associates, Inc. would provide property acquisition services associated with the acquisition of
easements and property rights by negotiation or condemnation and,
WHEREAS, said contract provided for an initial term of one (1) year with two (2)
additional one-year renewal terms at the option of the District, and
WHEREAS, the District desires to exercise its option to renew said contract for
the final one-year renewal term,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT THAT, the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to exercise the District’s option to renew the agreement with O.R. Colan Associates, Inc.
whereby O.R. Colan Associates, Inc. provide property acquisition services associated with the
acquisition of easements and property rights by negotiation or condemnation for the District for
the final one-year renewal term, and shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are
approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted on January 8, 2015.
