January 4th 1943.
ReEizlar meeting of the Town Cour_cil;-
--ayor Graham presidtn m, and all councilmen present.
Minutes of last meeting were read and on motion by Luwe
second. by Lindaman same be approveC as read. Motion carried.
The Street Alley committee report that final arrangements have
not been completed, in attaching Snow Plow attachments to a Truck
for removing snow- from streets, but that arrangements are in
progress.
It was moved by Luwe second by Okones that we also make the
necessary improvements to the New Pumphouse to protect against
Sabotage. motion carried.
It was moved_ by Luwe second by Okones that the order for
500., feet of Fire hose given by the Fire Chief be approved.
Motion carried.
Treasurers report was received , read and placed on file.
It was moved by Luwe second by Lindaman, teat the folcwin�c

Resolution.
Be it resolved by the Town council of Wellsburg, Iowa;
That, All a blec._ Doc.ied male residents between
the age of 21 years and 45 years inclusive, shall pay the
sum of Two Dollars acid 50 cents ($2.50) if paid before June
lst, or the sum of Three Dollars (83.00) after June lst, to
the Town Clerk, as a Poll tax for the year 1943.
Final date of payment Oct lst 1943.
Passed and adopted by the council this 4th day of January 1943
