WHEREAS, the adoption of Resolution No. 3222 will authorize the District's
fourth (4th) option for a six (6) month term, from July 1, 2015 through December 31, 2015 of a
contract previously authorized by Ordinance No. 13405, adopted June 14, 2012; authorizing the
Secretary-Treasurer of the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to exercise its option to renew
its contract with Bank of America N.A., to provide general banking and safekeeping services,
and said contract renewal shall provide for a fee consisting of a series of unit prices, and shall be
comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the Secretary-
Treasurer of the District.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13405, adopted June 14, 2012, authorized the District
to enter into a series of contracts and agreements with Bank of America N.A., whereby Bank of
America would provide banking and safekeeping services for the District, and
WHEREAS, said contracts provided for an initial term of one (1) year with four
(4) additional one-year renewal terms at the option of the District, and
WHEREAS, the third one-year term of said contract is about to expire, and the
District desires to exercise its option to renew said contract for a six-month term, from
July 1, 2015 through December 31, 2015.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Secretary-Treasurer is hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to exercise the District's
option to renew for an additional six-month term, from July 1, 2015 through December 31, 2015,
the contracts and agreements with Bank of America N.A. whereby Bank of America N.A will
provide general banking and safekeeping services, and said contract renewal shall provide for a
fee consisting of a series of unit prices, and shall be comprised of such other terms and
conditions as are approved by the Office of the Secretary-Treasurer of the District.
