WHEREAS, Michael S. Griffin has served The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District from July 19, 1979, to his retirement effective February 1, 2016.
WHEREAS, his tireless energy, dedication and loyalty as Operations Supervisor
(Sewer Maintenance/Construction/Rehab) contributed to the development and progress of the
District and to the public, which it serves;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
THAT, this Board on behalf of itself, the District and its people, and the citizens it
herewith cites and expresses its greatest appreciation to Michael S. Griffin for his 36 years of
exemplary service;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this expression be presented to
Mr. Michael S. Griffin.
The foregoing resolution was adopted on February 11, 2016.
