WHEREAS, Robert T. Berry served on the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District from April 1, 2008 to January 12, 2016, having held the
position of both Vice-Chair and Chair of the Board of Trustees, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Berry's strong leadership, knowledge and expertise imparted
direction and stability to the District, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Berry's contribution of serving as both chair and member of all
four committees, the Stakeholders, Program Management, Finance Committee and Audit
Committee, assured a continued diligent focus on the District’s fiscal matters, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Berry's contributions to the St. Louis Community reach far
beyond his service on the District's Board, he is a member of numerous organizations including,
but not limited to, Moolah Shrine Temple, Masonic Lodge of Missouri, Missouri Botanical
Garden, many professional engineering associations and is currently the Chairman of the
Racquet Ruckus Foundation and on the Executive Committee for the Missouri University of
Science & Technology Alumni Association.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT; THAT, this Board on behalf of itself,
the District and the people it serves, herewith expresses its sincere appreciation and gratitude to
Mr. Berry for his service on the Board of Trustees and for his many contributions to the St. Louis
Community.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, THAT, a copy of this Resolution be presented to
Mr. Berry in recognition of his service and accomplishment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on January 14, 2016.
