WHEREAS, the adoption of Resolution No. 3295 will exercise option year one
(1) of the contract previously authorized by Ordinance No. 14229 adopted September 10, 2015,
which authorized the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with McGriff, Seibels & Williams of Missouri,
Inc., whereby McGriff, Seibels & Williams of Missouri, Inc. would provide insurance brokerage
and insurance consultant services to the District.
WHEREAS, said contract provided for an initial term of one (1) year with four
(4) additional one-year renewal terms at the option of the District, and
WHEREAS, The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District desires to exercise its first
of four (4) option years and to renew said contract for an additional one-year term.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT THAT, the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to exercise the District's option to renew for the first one-year renewal term the contract
with McGriff, Seibels & Williams of Missouri, Inc. whereby McGriff, Seibels & Williams of
Missouri, Inc. will provide insurance brokerage and insurance consultant services to the District,
and said contract renewal shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved
by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted on August 11, 2016.
