WHEREAS, the adoption of Resolution No. 3313 will extend the contract with
BJC Employee Assistance Program that was previously authorized by Ordinance No. 14291,
adopted December 10, 2015, and authorized the Executive Director on behalf of the
Metropolitan St. Louis District to enter into a contract with BJC Employee Assistance Program
to administer the District’s Employee Assistance Program (E.A.P.) for the District’s employees
and family members, and
WHEREAS, said contract will expire on January 31, 2017, and
WHEREAS, the District desires to exercise it option to renew said contract for an
additional one-year term, commencing on February 1, 2017.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT THAT, the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to exercise the District’s option to renew for an additional one-year term commencing on
February 1, 2017, the contract with BJC Employee Assistance Program whereby BJC Employee
Assistance Program would provide Employee Assistance Program (E.A.P.) services for District
employees, said contract renewal shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as are
approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
The foregoing resolution was adopted on November 10, 2016.
