HomeMy Public PortalAboutR3324RESOLUTION NO. 3324 WHEREAS, the adoption of Resolution No. 3324 will exercise option year one (1) of the contract previously authorized by Ordinance No. 14226, adopted September 10, 2015, which authorized the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with ADS Environmental Services (ADS), whereby ADS would provide data processing services for the raw flow meter data collected by the District’s Flow Monitoring Group. The resulting processed data is utilized by the Engineering department for collection system modelling and to evaluate project effectiveness to comply with Consent Decree requirements. WHEREAS, said contract provided for an initial term of one (1) year with one (1) additional one-year renewal term at the option of the District; WHEREAS, The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District desires to exercise the option to renew said agreement for an additional one-year term; WHEREAS, said amendment for this option year will provide for a fee not to exceed Two Hundred Twenty-Three Thousand Four Hundred Forty-Four Dollars ($223,444.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT THAT, the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to exercise the District’s option to renew for one (1) year the contract with ADS, whereby ADS will provide data processing services for the raw flow meter data collected by the District’s Flow Monitoring group and shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. The foregoing Resolution was adopted on December 8, 2016.
