WHEREAS, George N. Tyhurst has served The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District from August 17, 1998, to his retirement effective August 1, 2017.
WHEREAS, his tireless energy, dedication and loyalty as Civil Engineer
contributed to the development and progress of the District and to the public, which it serves;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
THAT, this Board on behalf of itself, the District and its people, and the citizens it
herewith cites and expresses its greatest appreciation to George N. Tyhurst for his 18 years of
exemplary service;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this expression be presented to
Mr. George N. Tyhurst.
This foregoing Ordinance was adopted on August 10, 2017.
