WHEREAS, Susan J. Whitener has served The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District from October 10, 1979, to her retirement effective August 1, 2017.
WHEREAS, her tireless energy, dedication and loyalty as Assistant Engineer
contributed to the development and progress of the District and to the public, which it serves;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
THAT, this Board on behalf of itself, the District and its people, and the citizens it
herewith cites and expresses its greatest appreciation to Susan J. Whitener for her 37 years of
exemplary service;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this expression be presented to
Ms. Susan J. Whitener.
This foregoing Ordinance was adopted on August 10, 2017.
