HomeMy Public PortalAboutR3381 Collection of Excess Funds ResolutionRESOLUTION NO. 3381 WHEREAS, the adoption of Resolution No. 3381 will exercise option year one (1) of the contract previously authorized by Ordinance No. 14542, adopted November 10, 2016, which authorized the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with The Law Offices of Jonathan P. Beck, LLC, whereby The Law Offices of Jonathan P. Beck, LLC would provide legal services for the collection of excess proceeds from properties sold at the St. Louis City tax sale auctions. WHEREAS, said contract provided for an initial term of one (1) year with three (3) additional one-year renewal terms at the option of the District, and WHEREAS, the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District desires to exercise its first (1st) of three (3) option years to renew said contract for an additional one-year term. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT THAT, the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to exercise the District's option to renew for the first one-year renewal term the contract with The Law Offices of Jonathan P. Beck, LLC whereby The Law Offices of Jonathan P. Beck, LLC would provide legal services for the collection of excess proceeds from properties sold at the St. Louis City tax sale auctions to the District and shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. The foregoing resolution was adopted on November 9, 2017.
