WHEREAS, the adoption of Resolution No. 3407 will designate the Executive
Director to oversee, develop, implement, and administer MSD’s Identity Theft Prevention
Program.
WHEREAS, the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act of 2003, “Red Flag”
Rule – Enacted November 1, 2008, requires a senior employee be designated to oversee,
develop, implement, and administer MSD’s Identity Theft Prevention Program;
WHEREAS, MSD’s Identity Theft Prevention Program, originally enacted on
November 1, 2008 for the protection of MSD’s customers against identity theft, needs to be
approved; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees designates the Executive Director to oversee,
develop, implement, and administer MSD’s Identity Theft Prevention Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT, that the Executive Director is hereby
delegated full and complete authority to oversee, develop, implement, and administer MSD’s
Identity Theft Prevention Program.
This foregoing Resolution was adopted on February 15, 2018.
