WHEREAS, Michael E. Thompson has served The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District from November 7, 2005, to his retirement effective March 1, 2018.
WHEREAS, his tireless energy, dedication and loyalty as Heavy Equipment
Operator contributed to the development and progress of the District and to the public, which it
serves;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
THAT, this Board on behalf of itself, the District and its people, and the citizens it
herewith cites and expresses its greatest appreciation to Michael E. Thompson for his 12 years of
exemplary service;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this expression be presented to
Mr. Michael E. Thompson.
This foregoing Resolution was adopted on March 8, 2018.
