WHEREAS, the adoption of Resolution No. 3424 will exercise option year two
(2) of the contract previously authorized by Ordinance No 14352, adopted April 14, 2016, and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the Board of Trustees
of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Gusdorf Law Firm
LLC, for collection litigation services on behalf of the District.
WHEREAS, the said contract provided for an initial one year term with three (3)
additional one-year renewal terms at the option of the District; and
WHEREAS, the initial term is about to expire, and the District desires to exercise
its second (2nd) one-year renewal of said contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer, on behalf of the
Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, are hereby authorized to
exercise the District's second (2nd) option to renew for an additional one-year term the contract
with Gusdorf Law Firm, LLC for collection litigation services; said contract renewal shall be
comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General
Counsel of the District.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted on May 10, 2018.
