WHEREAS, per Section 8.020 of the Charter Plan of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District, the District requests that Tara Buckner be reappointed to serve as a Civil Service
Commissioner for a second three (3) year term;
WHEREAS, per Section 8.020 of the Charter Plan a Civil Service Commissioner
shall be appointed for a term of three (3) years and shall serve no more than two (2) terms plus
any portion of an unexpired term;
WHEREAS, on January 9, 2014, Tara Buckner was appointed by the Board of
Trustees to serve as a Civil Service Commissioner to fulfill the portion of the unexpired term of
Commissioner Thompson;
WHEREAS, on June 8, 2014, Tara Buckner was reappointed by the Board of Trustees to
serve as a Civil Service Commissioner for her first three (3) year term;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT, THAT the Board hereby reappoints
Tara Buckner to serve as a Civil Service Commissioner for a second three (3) year term from
June 8, 2017 to June 8, 2020.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted on June 14, 2018.
