WHEREAS, the adoption of Resolution No. 3484 will exercise option year one
(1) of the contract previously authorized by Ordinance No. 14895, adopted May 10, 2018, which
authorized the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into a General Services Agreement with O.R. Colan
Associates, Inc., whereby O.R. Colan Associates, Inc. would provide professional acquisition
and relocation services for certain parcels of real property which are negatively impacted by
flooding, erosion, or related sewer or stormwater issues, as well as provide professional services
for the conveyance of certain properties that have been or will be declared surplus by The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District.
WHEREAS, said contract provided for an initial term of one (1) year with two (2)
additional one-year renewal terms at the option of the District; and
WHEREAS, the District desires to exercise its option to renew said contract for
the first one-year renewal term.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT THAT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to exercise the District’s
option to renew the contract with O.R. Colan Associates, Inc., whereby O.R. Colan Associates
Inc. will provide professional acquisition and relocation services for certain parcels of real
property which are negatively impacted by flooding, erosion, or related sewer or stormwater
issues, as well as provide professional services for the conveyance of certain properties that have
been or will be declared surplus by The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District.
Section Two. The renewal authorized in Section One of this resolution shall
provide for services to be rendered not to exceed One Million Nine Hundred Thousand Dollars
($1,900,000.00); shall commence on April 1, 2019 and terminate on March 31, 2020; and shall
be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General
Counsel of the District.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted on February 14, 2019.
