WHEREAS, Reverend Ronald L. Bobo, Sr. served on the Board of Trustees of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District from January 12, 2016 to June 13, 2019, and
WHEREAS, Rev. Bobo's strong leadership, knowledge and expertise imparted
direction and stability to the District, and
WHEREAS, Rev. Bobo's contribution serving on the Stakeholder Relations and
Audit Committees, as Vice-Chairman and Chairman respectively, and as the Vice-Chairman of
the Board of Trustees, assured a continued diligent focus on the District’s fiscal matters, and
WHEREAS, Rev. Bobo's contributions to the St. Louis Community reach far
beyond his service on the District's Board, including but not limited to, serving as founder of
Great Things, Inc. Foundation, Founder and Executive Director of Sharing Hope International
Ministries and serving as Pastor of West Side Missionary Baptist Church for 32 years, as well as
a member of numerous non-profit and other organizations through the St. Louis Region.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT; THAT, this Board on behalf of itself,
the District and the people it serves, herewith expresses its sincere appreciation and gratitude to
Reverend Ronald L. Bobo Sr. for his service on the Board of Trustees and for his many
contributions to the St. Louis Community.
NOW BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, THAT, a copy of this Resolution be
presented to Reverend Bobo in recognition of his service and accomplishment.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted on June 13, 2019.
