A RESOLUTION, identifying and designating a Civil Service Commissioner to
serve on the Civil Service Commission of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, per Section
8.020 of the Charter Plan of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District.
WHEREAS, Section 8.020 of the Charter Plan established the Civil Service
Commission of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; and
WHEREAS, Section 8.020 of said Charter provides that said Civil Service
Commission shall consist of three members, who shall be appointed by the Board; and
WHEREAS, Section 8.020 of said Charter provides that members shall be
persons who are known to be in sympathy with the application of merit principles to public
employment; and
WHEREAS, Section 8.030 provides the duties of the Civil Service Commission;
and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT, THAT the Board hereby appoints
Rev. Michael F. Jones, Sr. to serve as a Civil Service Commissioner for a three (3) year term
from July 11, 2019 to July 11, 2022.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted on July 11, 2019.
