WHEREAS, Edwin Burris, Jr. has faithfully served The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District from August 27, 1973 to his
retirement effective March 1, 2001, and
WHEREAS, his tireless energy, dedication and loyalty as
Buildings & Grounds Foreman have contributed to the development and
progress of the District and to the public which it serves;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
THAT, this Board on behalf of itself, the District and its
people, and the citizens it serves, herewith cites and expresses its
greatest appreciation to Edwin Burris, Jr. for his 27 years of exemplary
service.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this expression
be presented to Mr. Burris.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted February 8, 2001.
