HomeMy Public PortalAboutr2402R E S O L U T I O N NO. 2402 WHEREAS, Peggy Prince Finn served on the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District for nearly four years, from May 1997 to March 2001; and WHEREAS, Ms. Finn, better known to her colleagues and friends as “Pepe”, shared with the District her knowledge and experience to help better the District and the community it serves; and WHEREAS, as Chairman of the Board in the year 2000, Ms. Finn exhibited considerable leadership and judgment in guiding the Board and District; and WHEREAS, during her tenure on the Board, Ms. Finn was dedicated to the concept of assisting employees in striving to reach their highest potential, and WHEREAS, Ms. Finn’s service on the Board continued her longstanding civic commitments, having previously served on the Board of the National Council of Jewish Women and involving herself with FOCUS St. Louis, and WHEREAS, Ms. Finn balanced her service to the District with a very active family life as wife and a mother of three children, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRSUTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SWER DISTRICT: THAT, this Board, on behalf of itself, the District and the people it serves herewith wishes to express its sincere appreciation and respect to Peggy Prince “Pepe” Finn for her many contributions and leadership she exhibited while serving on the District’s Board of Trustees. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in recognition for her service, a copy of this Resolution expressing the District’s thanks be presented to Ms. Finn by the Board and Staff. The foregoing Resolution was adopted April 12, 2001.
