WHEREAS, Donald Oberfeld Sr. has faithfully served The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District from January 30, 1956 to his
retirement effective August 1, 2001, and
WHEREAS, his tireless energy, dedication and loyalty as a
Construction Inspector – Senior in the Engineering Department have
contributed to the development and progress of the District and to the
public which it serves;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
THAT, this Board on behalf of itself, the District and its
people, and the citizens it serves, herewith cites and expresses its
greatest appreciation to Donald Oberfeld Sr. for his 45 years of
exemplary service.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this expression
be presented to Mr. Oberfeld.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted July 12, 2001.
