WHEREAS, Shelby H. Garner served the Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District from July 9, 1973 to his retirement effective September 1, 2001;
WHEREAS, his tireless energy, dedication and loyalty as a
Treatment Plant Operator II, contributed to the development and progress of
the District and to the public which it serves;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
THAT, this Board on behalf of itself, the District and its people,
and the citizens it serves, herewith cites and expresses its greatest appreciation
to Shelby H. Garner for his 28 years of exemplary service;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this expression be
presented to Mr. Shelby H. Garner.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted August 9, 2001.
