HomeMy Public PortalAboutr2655R E S O L U T I O N NO. 2655 WHEREAS, Robert J. Baer served on the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District from March 2003 to April 2006, having held
the position of Chairman of the Board from his appointment to March 2005, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Baer’s strong leadership, knowledge and expertise
imparted direction and stability to the District, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Baer’s contributions to the St. Louis Community
reach far beyond his service on the District’s Board, including, but not limited to,
serving as Executive Director of the Bi-State Development Agency and serving as
Chief of Staff to the St. Louis County Executive, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Baer’s numerous civic honors include, but are not
limited to, receipt of the John H. Poelker Award for Public Service from the CORO
Midwestern Foundation, and receipt of the Downtown St. Louis, Inc. Levee Stone
Award.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT; THAT,
this Board on behalf of itself, the District and the people it serves, herewith
expresses its sincere appreciation and gratitude to Robert J. Baer for his service on
the Board of Trustees and for his many contributions to the St. Louis Community.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, THAT, a copy of this Resolution be
presented to Mr. Baer in recognition of his service and accomplishment.
