HomeMy Public PortalAboutr2660R E S O L U T I O N NO. 2660 WHEREAS, John T. Banjak has faithfully served as a member of the
Civil Service Commission of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District from
November 13, 2001 to July 22, 2006, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Banjak served as Vice-Chairman of the Civil Service
Commission from November 2003, to July 22, 2006, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Banjak’s leadership, wisdom and legal knowledge
have greatly contributed to the fair and just interpretation and application of the
Civil Service Rules by the Commission, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Banjak’s contributions to this community through his
service as a member of the Civil Service Commission of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District, and his membership in numerous other professional, civic and
community organizations, not the least of which is his service on the Board of
Directors of Boys and Girls Town of Missouri, have been invaluable, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT, that this
Board on behalf of the District and the public it serves, wishes to thank John T.
Banjak for his years of service on the Civil Service Commission, and commends him
for his exemplary service.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be
presented to Mr. Banjak in acknowledgment of his service and contributions.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted August 10, 2006.
