WHEREAS, Section 610.026, R.S. Mo., sets forth that a public governmental
body shall provide access to and, upon request, furnish copies of public records; and
WHEREAS, Section 610.021, R.S. Mo., provides that a public governmental
body may legally close certain records as specifically enumerated in that section.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That it is the public policy of the District that meetings, records, votes, actions
and deliberations of this body shall be open to the public unless otherwise provided by
law.
2. That individually identifiable Personnel Records of employees are specifically
exempt by law from disclosure pursuant to Section 610.021 (13) R.S. Mo.
5. It is, therefore, the policy of the District that individually identifiable Personnel
Records of employees are closed records, and shall not be subject to disclosure under the
Sunshine Law.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted June 14, 2007.
