HomeMy Public PortalAboutr2727R E S O L U T I O N NO. 2727 WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 12413 adopted April 26, 2007, provides for the imposition of a schedule of new and increased engineering and service fees; and WHEREAS, The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District (“MSD”) values the relationship it has built with other governmental entities, and intends to comply with all relevant governmental ordinances; and WHEREAS, MSD appreciates that both MSD and other governmental entities are political subdivisions of the State of Missouri, and that both are clothed with sovereign immunity; and WHEREAS, MSD recognizes that it is the best interest of the public that additional fees not be imposed upon governmental entities, including MSD, when such entities undertake repairs, maintenance or new construction. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT THAT, the Director of Engineering shall enter into Mutual Reciprocity Agreements with other governmental entities who are authorized by their governing organizations to charge fees, whereby MSD and each signing entity shall waive plan review, inspection, permit and building fees for projects that involve repairs, maintenance or new construction. The foregoing Resolution was adopted July 12, 2007.
