HomeMy Public PortalAboutr2777RESOLUTION NO. 2777 WHEREAS, Charles Karam served on the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District from March 2005 through March 2008, and WHEREAS, during his tenure, Mr. Karam worked to protect the interest of the District's citizens and the St. Louis community, and WHEREAS, Mr. Karam’s leadership as Chair on the Program Management Committee greatly advanced the District’s Capital Improvement and Replacement Program, and WHEREAS, Mr. Karam’s professional accomplishments, including, but not limited to, serving as President of RCW Corporation/America Homebuilders; formerly serving as Director of Public Works and Administration with the City of Overland, Missouri, Chairman of the East St. Louis River Edge Redevelopment Commission and being a member of the Gene Slay Boys Club of St. Louis, have further contributed to the St. Louis community, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: THAT, this Board on behalf of itself, the District and its people, and the citizens it serves, herewith expresses its gratitude to Charles Karam for his service as a Trustee of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, THAT, a copy of this Resolution be presented to Mr. Karam in recognition of is service and accomplishment. The foregoing Resolution was adopted April 10, 2008.
