HomeMy Public PortalAboutr2824R E S O L U T I O N NO. 2824 WHEREAS, Dee Joyce-Hayes served on the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District from March 2003 to November 2008, having
held the position of Chairman of the Board from August 2006 through March 2007,
and
WHEREAS, Ms. Joyce-Hayes’ strong leadership, knowledge and
expertise imparted direction and stability to the District, and
WHEREAS, Ms. Joyce-Hayes’ contribution as Chair of the Program
Management Committee and Customer Relations Committee assured a continued
diligent focus on the District’s fiscal matters, and
WHEREAS, Ms. Joyce-Hayes’ contributions to the St. Louis
Community reach far beyond her service on the District’s Board, including, but not
limited to, serving on the Advisory Board of St. Louis For Kids and St. Louis Family
Violence Council Board, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT; THAT,
this Board on behalf of itself, the District and the people it serves, herewith
expresses its sincere appreciation and gratitude to Dee Joyce-Hayes for her service
on the Board of Trustees and for his many contributions to the St. Louis
Community.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, THAT, a copy of this Resolution be
presented to Ms. Joyce-Hayes in recognition of his service and accomplishment.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted December 11, 2008.
