New Business: Mr. Jursak moved to convene Executive Session to discuss and vote on FY 2012 Real Estate Abatement Applications. Mr. Hayes seconded. Roll call vote was taken to enter Executive Session at 6:15. Jursak-yes, Hayes-yes, Salomone-yes. The Board exited Executive Session at 7:41. Mr. Jursak moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:41 p.m. Ms. Salomone seconded, and it passed 3-0. Respectfully submitted, CV d , David H. Present: Assessors Hayes, Salomone and Jursak, and Deputy Assessor David Tately The Executive Session was called to review and discuss Real Estate Abatement Applications. David M. Ferrarini, owner as trustee of the property at 122 magnet Way, appeared before the Board to discuss his abatement application, which was based on his belief that the proposal by the town to construct two wind turbines in his part of town had an adverse impact on the value of his home. The Board listened to Mr. Ferrarini's argument and explained the factors that go into the assessment process, after which Mr. Ferrarini departed. After discussion on each application, the Board voted unanimously to approve each of the Real Estate Abatement Applications, in the amounts indicated, as shown on the list attached hereto as Addendum 1. After discussion, the Board voted unanimously to deny the Real Estate Abatement Application as shown on the list attached hereto as Addendum 2. Mr. Hayes moved to adjourn Executive Session.
