Indoor Pools at Ida Lee Park Recreation Center Will Reopen on
Monday, September 2, 2013
Leesburg, VA (August 29, 2013) – The Main and Auxiliary Indoor Pools at the Ida Lee Park
Recreation Center will remain closed until Monday, September 2, 2013. The pools are currently
closed for annual maintenance and cleaning, and will reopen on Monday, September 2, 2013 at
8:00am.
In order to accommodate lap swimmers, the A.V. Symington Aquatic Center will be open for lap
swimming only on Saturday, August 31, and Sunday, September 1, from 7:00am to 10:30am.
Lap swimmers will be required to pay general admission or present their Ida Lee passes. The
A.V. Symington Aquatic Center will open to Town residents for normal usage at 11:00am, and
to the general public at 12:00pm, on both days.
All other facilities at the Ida Lee Park Recreation Center are open normal operating hours. For
