Minutes of the Wednesday,March 7,2012 meeting
fklior 4:00 pm in Meeting Room B, Brewster Town Hall.
The meeting was called to order at 4:05 pm by Norm Adams,Chair.
Members present: Norm Adams, Walter Powers
Members absent: Janet Husband
Non-members present: James Paul Ludwig,Video Services Coordinator and Larry Greeley,
Finance Committee liaison.
James Paul Ludwig reviewed his monthly report. Some of the highlights are:
>Continued expansion of programming on BGTV.
>Use of newly purchased equipment in enhancing program offerings.
>Explanation of technical difficulties and their positive resolution.
>Digitalization of Comcast of Lower Cape resulting in stereo broadcasts of channels 17
and 18 by June,2012.
>Inherent problems contained in MA Legislature's HB3558"an act promoting consumer
choice and competition for cable service." The second reading in legislative committee
is scheduled for May 18,2012. Our committee needs further clarification before we can
advise the Board of Selectmen.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:30 PM.
