Brewster Cable TV Advisory Committee
Minutes of the Wednesday,Sept.5,2012 meeting
4:00 pm in Meeting Room B, Brewster Town Hall
The meeting was called to order at 4:05 PM by Norm Adams,Chair.
Members present: Norm Adams,Janet Husband,Jennie Mignone and Walter Powers
Non-members present: James Paul Ludwig,Video Services Coordinator
The approved minutes of the March 7,April 4 and June 14,2012 were distributed. No draft
minutes were distributed.
We welcomed Jennie Mignone as a new member of the Brewster Cable TV Advisory Committee.
James Paul briefly reviewed his work during August. Mark O'Brien,Director of the Captain's
Golf course,has drafted a promotional video. We look forward to seeing this program. August
shoots included library programs,special coverage of the Brew run with Larry Greeley, a video
about private road access for emergency vehicles with Fire Chief Moran,and a presentation by
the Whitten Horsley group about the Integrated Water Resources Management Plan.
James Paul reminded us that Channel 17 will be moving to Channel 99 in mid-September.
There was a general discussion about the town of Brewster's Inet and its relation to the Open
Cape project. Committee members are uncertain about their role in this work. We need
clarification from Charlie Sumner.
The larger issue of our Committee's responsibility was also discussed.
The next meeting was set for Wednesday,October 3 at 4 pm.
Janet Husband moved and Walter Powers seconded the movement to adjourn.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:25 pm.
